"Where's Waldo " if you read it before , is a series of book with a lot of things in one page and you need to find Waldo , the main charater.
Waldo was created by illustrator named Martin Handford , initially , handford wanted to draw a crowd scenes , but children grew fascinated with trying to find their hero, so fascinated more than 40 million " Where's Waldo" book have been sold in 28 countries.
Waldo is a geeky-looking , with glasses on , nerd with striped shirt and a goofy hat .
The author assures us that Waldo is on every pages but he is hidden to the untrained eye.
you have to be willing to look for him." Surely Waldo was in this place, but i just can't see him."
Parts of what make it so hard to find Waldo is that he is so ordinary - looking.,
Sometime you can be looking right at him without even knowing it .
When you found Waldo, you will have a sense of joy and accomplishment,
But if it was too easy , Eg: every page consisted of a giant picture of waldo's face, no one would ever buy that book .
The Difficulty of task is what increase the power of Discernment.
Sometime it takes a while to find waldo, it demand patience , some people are better than the others, some people just give up.
God was on every page, but no one recognized him , because everyone was expecting someone that look like the POWERFUL God that was shown in movies or shows .
But God came down to be with us , is as if he put on Waldo's goofy looking glasses and stripe shirt ,
He look ordinary , he had no "majesty".
Where's waldo?? , he is right there one that page, he is anywhere people are willing to see the whole world with eyes in capable of anything but wonder.
God Is surely out there in the crowd , in your class, in your working place, are you willing to take sometime and patience to find him?
let everyday , every moment , of your life be another page,God is there.

God is closer than you think..
Jacob's Dream at Bethel
Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Haran. When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep. He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. There above it stood the LORD, and he said: "I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it." He was afraid and said, "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven."
Nowaday i'm reading a book titled'' God is closer then you think "
and this are some thing i read and learnt fromm the book.
this part of the story , when jacob was slping , God appear to him and tell him some stuff.
and the image he saw was a ladder , stairway, which was resting on the earth with it's top reaching the heaven ,
Many people misunderstood that the ladder was a tool for us to go up to heaven, It was actually the stairway to allow God to come to this earth we all live in .
God are still in the business of coming down and use him love to reach out to us.
After that Jacob life started to change , but not all at once.
Jacob had a brother who are wanting to kill him cos of some things that jacob did to him , and so jacob take the risk of reconciling with his brother by giving him back alot of animals and stuff.
Jacob have not see his brother for like 2 decades of separation and hatred, and we all expect when his brother sees him he is going to kill him with a M16 rifle and maybe add some salt to his wound and torture him maybe ,
BUT in Genesis 33:4
But Esau ran to meet Jacob and embraced him; he threw his arms around his neck and kissed him. And they wept.
Joacb made a staement in the Scripture " To see your face is like seeing the face of God..."
Because once you see God in an ordinary moment at an ordinary place , you will never know where he will show up next . You could start seeing him anywhere and everywhere, even in the face of someone who's been your martal enemy for 20 years.
Jacob thought of this when he wake up after seeing God"Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it."
The thing is that God is ALWAYS with Jacob but only is that Jacob are not aware of God's presence.
Any place can be Bethel, The House Of God. in singapore , in your school , in this very room you are in ,Or on the very chair you are sitting as you read these words.
Are you like Jacob ??? Do you know that God is always with you ???

It means, the high rich people they will seek all kind of Pleasure, Money , Fame, Reputation and they will see me ask weak when they dun see this thing in me , but i will not die for all the things that they are seeking cos i know what is the right things i should be seeking.
i think the is quite meaningful Cos i really dun wanna seek what the other people in the world are seeking.
Money , Fame, Reputation and many more , for all that will fade away .
The thing that i really wanted to seek is none other then GOD,Jesus himself, for he will never fade away.
I really want to seek to Glorify his name.
So God help me to glorify your name ok ? :D

So the Question is NOT, "Do YOU know Jesus???"
the Question is, " Does JESUS know You ???"
Then how can you sure that Jesus know you ???
Is to do the will of God.

We dun have much time.
-You wanna know how valuable one YEAR is ??? Ask a student who fail his final year exam last year.
-You wanna know how valuable one MONTH is ??? Ask someone who just found out he had a cancer , and the doctor give him 3 month to live, ask him,how valuable one month is .
- You wanna know how valuable a WEEK is ??? Ask mom who had a child woth incomplete lung developed child , and the doctor give the child 1 week to develop his lung .
-You wanna know important and how valuable one SEC is ??? Ask some one who is just had a car bearly hit him and he was with one sec he was separated from life and death.. ask the person how important one sec is ???
We dun have much time , not to spend but invest your time.
But how can we invest our time ???
let me list it out for you
Did you know that
80% of what you do everybody can do Eg: check email , eat breakfast, tok to friends, answer this phone...
15% of what you do only some one with certain kind of skill can do Eg:run a certain computer programme,photoshop...
5% only 5% of what you do only you can do it Eg:no body can be a child of your parent other than you , only i can grow myself,no one can do that for me, it would be nice if you can ask other people to grow like crazy and deposite back to you , but no ,only you can grow ,only you can grow spiritually no one can grow for you.
Only 5% of what you do ,only you can do it,and that is what you are hold accountable for and that is what will bring success or failure to your life, it doesn't matter if you can make 500 million per month if you fail in your 5% , you have no legacy.
We really need to think through what are the 5% things that only we ourself can do cos that will be the things we wan to invest our time in like crazy.
And there is 5 words that can destroy your future,that 5%,and the words are'' I DUN HAVE THE TIME"
if it was for playing ,for sport you can say that ,but when it comes to this things(5%) if you say i dun have the time, you just destory your future.
if some people ask '' do you wanna go church ???" you answer"i dun ahve the time"
"do you wanna spend some time to grow yourself spiritually??" you answer "i dun have the time"
but you have time for everything else.
The Treasure Principle
"That what you love, you will always have time for"
And you know why the greatest commandment in the whole bible is " love the lord your god , with all your heart ,soul ,mind and strength" cos what you love , you will always have time for, and God understand the treasure principle.
God what you to love him and have time for him.
Dun let the world establish your treasure,and let God .
Find out what is your 5%, dun lose that .
Invest in the last 5%, for that will be what God multiply.
The tower of Babel
In the verse it says that the people had one language and a common speech, But does the language in the verse really mean that it is a kind of communication by voice in the distinctively human manner ??? or does it mean something else???
I Think the language in the verse can mean quite a few thingy Example: GOD , Vision, enemy and etc
For me , i think God had confuse the people's Vision, at 1st they had a common goal , vision, and when God confuse their common vision , they start to go separate ways, and stop working with one another and when they pursuit their own vision instead of a common vision, they started to scatter all around the world and so the unity was Gone.
So what does the language in the verse mean to u ???
The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.
Suddenly thought of a sermon i heard few days ago , it's abt Discernment.
Discernment = acuteness of judgment and understanding.
the ability to judge right or wrong.
The world that we live in had alot of opinion , no matter where you are ,talking to your friends or your parents, watching a the news, constantly our world is communicating it's opinion and sometime is not only communicating it's opinion, but it is trying to shape you for example :'' THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD THINK ABT MONEY !! THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD THINK ABT PEOPLE!!!'' and this go on and on .
And if we allow those opinion to shape you , you will not able to live the life that God wanted you to live.
So we must discern what is right and what is wrong.
1 thess 5:21 -22
Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.
this is what we shoud do :
1) test EVERYTHING
2) HOLD ON to the good
3) Stay away form EVERY EVIL.
That sound pretty easy ,straight forward, choose what is good and stay away form evil, i mean we maybe learn that when we are 5 years old, and you may say that it is easy to do that, stay away from evil ,i can handle that ,but discernment is important is because evil doesn't always present to us as evil.
We dun live in a world that tell you everything, For example when we walk into a christian bookshop and we pick up a book, we dun see on the 1st page and it's says'' Thank you for reading this book ,80% of it's content is biblical ,helpful and accurate, but 20% of it are actually quite wrong and damaging, you can find those in Chapter 2, 5 and 7 .......''
Discernment is not easy , it takes work .
And discernment is so important becos when it comes to spiritual things,to soul , discernment is a matter of life and death, a decision you make now may affect things in your future, the consquence may be eternal.
So choose wisely, discern what is right and wrong and live according to God 's way.
